  • Continuing students should have commenced their studies online between 20th July 2020 and 25th July 2022 due to COVID-19 and now plan to commence on-campus studies in 2023. Valid Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) or offshore status documentation may be requested during the application process.
  • Satisfy the entry and ongoing accommodation requirements of the ECU Student Village Mount Lawley at all relevant times.

Application Process:

Students can proceed to book their accommodations by going to the official ECU Village website once the availability has been verified. Admission Requirements:

The bursary recipient is responsible for maintaining ongoing compliance with the eligibility requirements and conditions specified into 2023. In 2023, they must enrol in and finish 60 credits per semester or study period. Additionally, throughout the duration of the scholarship, the grantee must maintain good academic and financial status. Students should be aware of and adhere to the travel and immunisation regulations established by the governments of Western Australia and Australia, which are further described at the provided websites. They must also follow any applicable travel limitations as well as the safe transition plan put forward by the Western Australian government.

If the beneficiary misses the deadline(s) for paying tuition or enrolling in the specified units of study, ECU reserves the right to terminate the bursary. Additionally, beneficiaries will forfeit their eligibility if they move out of the ECU Student Village Mount Lawley or if they are awarded any other government or private grants or scholarships during the length of the bursary. The receiver must follow all ECU statutes, regulations, bylaws, policies, procedures, and visa requirements.

Any modifications to the situation that might affect continued eligibility must be immediately notified to ECU. The scholarship pays for lodging in a five-bedroom flat with a pool and shared amenities at ECU Student Village Mount Lawley. Direct payments to the village operator will be made; they cannot be exchanged for cash or student credit. Should the beneficiary lose eligibility or if the bursary is revoked in accordance with the rules, any unused part must be paid back to ECU.

All bursaries are awarded at the university’s discretion, and if a student gives incorrect or misleading information or doesn’t follow the ongoing requirements, the institution reserves the right to rescind the bursary.
